One post, Many subjects

Where to start...

Firstly, I saw the Harry Potter 7, which was AMAZING! They're in like, what, college now!? I was very sad to see that it was ONLY PART 1! It's disappointing to know that you have to wait almost TWO YEARS to watch the next one! But at least I was blessed to see it.

Thanksgiving was AWESOME and yummy. If I had to list everything I was thankful for.. the list would go on FOREVER. But the one thing in particular is hugs. I mean, hugs are awesome. And they don't cost anything!! (Thumbs up for free hugs) (: If you're upset they cheer you up. Hugs are awesome. Period.

And last but not least, SNOW DAY!!! I love the snow.... I thank God for all his great works. Thanks for readin!

Treat... Or Trick?

Happy Halloween everyone! I'm sorry about not being able to post, we busied ourselves with scary movies and outrageous questions/dares. If able to, I'll have one of my fellow people post. If not, I'll still write anyways. (Possibly tomorrow, I don't know.) Enjoy the candy! Until then... Goodbye!

The Many Wonders

Okay so, a reader titled "Anonymous" came up with the new blog name. I think it fits. What about you?
Before I continue the second part of the corn maze, I'd like to set something straight. I'm not hoping to have the most popular blog in the world. But I mean, I'd like to have some people reading it.

I'd like to start with the corn maze. It was pretty boring in the beginning. Because 1) I had a miscommunication with my mother that made us bored, wondering around with no money, and staggering like drunks. (I have to admit though, it was pretty funny.) And two, we didn't get to see any cute guys! Sorry... That was the girly side of my brain kicking up.

Anyways, we found pumpkins and compared them to people at our school. Okay... A little mean, I know. We then took a hay ride, and discovered that the best pumpkins were at the very, very end. After we hopped off of the hay ride, we took a long stroll to the farthest end of the patch. We were just trying to burn off time. So when we walked over to the longest part, we began finding small little pumpkins and comparing the best ones to, again, people at our school.

This time, though, we compared them to the best personalities.  Translation: Boys we liked.
After we found some adorable pumpkins, we carried them back to show my mom.

At around 6:30, we finally made it to the corn maze. It was fun, trying to figure out which way to navigate. But, corn stalks are evil.  Because it gave me a corn stalk cut across my cheek!! Well... I may have deserved it. I was picking off the corn so it probably decided to fight back.

Anyways, thank you to the faithful reader that has decided the new blog name. Before I sign off, I'd like to (yes, again) ask something of you. Please comment below and tell me about your experience at the corn maze.  Thanks guys!

Corn Maze

Many people come here to have fun. Little squeals of joy from the little children, older children trying to blend in, and the frustration and annoyance from the parents. All in all, it's a pretty fun experience. Here are some pictures to give you an idea:

Don't worry- the chainsaw's rubber. (The Blades are, anyways.)   And the people were in the 'FIELD OF SCREAMS'. Here's another picture on the subject:

And this just proves clowns are creepy. Even in daylight.
On a lighter note, there's an inflated balloon thingy you can bounce on until your side hurts and you're gasping for breath. My friend, Journey, and I are probably going to go to the light-hearted kid's event. And (sadly) not going to be able to go to some scarier stuff like the Field Of Screams. Not today, at least.

There's food, and drinks, as well as a pumpkin patch and kiddy rides. As a joke, Journey and I will probably go on some of the little rides. I hope no one is severely injured by the time I get on the race track. I should probably stay away from that to avoid suing...

Anyways, comment below if you have any costume ideas for Halloween! Thanks!

As one last picture, I'd like to share with you this one. Poor pumpkin, the annoying orange will probably soon make a video with it! (Hence the terrorized expression.)

Today is a new record for the blog. It's the longest post yet achieved! Thank you for being a faithful reader.

Before I sign off, I'd like to ask you a favor. Please comment below for a new idea for a blog name.If I'm not able to post again, Happy Halloween!!!

Among the many

For those of you who are religious, have you ever considered Halloween? Like, REALLY thought about it?
If Jesus were to come on that day, what would you be representing? Would you be something to represent him, (good) or something that would clash against your belief in him? (bad) Just think about it.
And while I'm typing this, the computer corrected me for spelling "halloween" non-capitalized. Halloween was originally meant to chase away "evil spirits".
Did this ever occur to you? It seems to be that we are now representing the spirits. Halloween has gotten out of control. Not trying to be "Debby Downer" or anything, I just thought I needed to post this. Try to represent (if you happen to be a religious person) something you think God would smile upon. If you don't, that's fine.

Anyways, think I may start with an assignment for each week. This week's assignment: Figure out fun, scary, etc. Halloween costumes and send some pics in! Have a fun Halloween! If you think this is all on the subject, you're absolutely INSANE. :) Byee!!

Prayers

I recently sent out a forward called "Hope and prayers" to those of you in my contacts list.

The reason being, is because my grandma took a fall after a recent hip replacement. I'm sorry this post is so short, but I can't think of anything more important right now. Please pray for my grandma, though.

Before I sign off, I'd like to share a dream with you. I would like to do something to change the world, by helping people. Any ideas? Please comment below. Thanks.

Realization

Has just struck me. I realize I'm now a sixth grader, and that means maturity. How is it possible to have been a younger just a few years ago, in ignorant bliss without a care? Now we have the rescission, muggers, etc. to worry about. And I can't say things that I did as a child that would be considered nasty, (we have some 6th graders at my school to thank for that.

Anyways, I guess this post is to remind us that we should enjoy time as "littler" kids while we can. Geez, I sound like my mother. So all of those "11 going on 16" girls out there, (I'm a partyer too, but still) try to take life slower. And then when you're older, you'll come to realize  I was right. Even if you were just randomly browsing blogs... Thanks for reading, please subscribe!

Overcoming

What do you feel when you see, or hear from someone it seems like ages when you've last been/done something together? The feeling I had when I saw one of my most inspirational pals, was pure happiness. We hugged, talked about what we've done during the summer, etc. I was in a bad mood, so I cried and had her comfort me.

On a another positive note, my Grandma finally had a hip replaced. We often visit her to replenish her spirits. I'm also trying to work for my fathers' company (http://www.crossroadsangel.com/music/) You guys might wanna check it out, it's pretty cool. Unfortunately, anyone under 13 is unable to join. (I'm sorry to all of my friends, but it's the sad, sad truth! )

Before I sign off, I would like to know something. If a color would be a personality, what would they be? The colors are: Pink, blue, light blue, green, red, black.  Please let me know your opinion, it's greatly appreciated!

Duties of an elder sibling.

Sure, siblings are annoying. It's their job!  (and yours too) But then there's those times when you two get to bond. Sure, it might be like, 3.000001% of the time, but you still get to. I decided to ask my sister (cuz I was bored and I didn't have friends available)  and we ended up having fun. Here's a picture:

It's off to the side. Anyways, point of this post is to make sure to include family time in every day. We made hot chocolate. Anyways, for nail polish updates, I need a new color. Any ideas? It would appreciated! And as for update updates, tomorrow is the "Annual" Lakewood yardsale! Kinda cool...... Have a great summer! And bring on the moolah! :)

My brilliant mother

My brilliant mother (as seen above) had an awesome idea about doing different colors of nail polish per each week of summer. I thought well, what about how much it costs? Apparently, that didn't occur.  Not wanting to ruin my Mom's brightness, I went along with it.  On another positive side, we made reservations to go on vacay at the Oregon Coast!

We have some places overlooking the sea. Any suggestions on what I should bring/do there besides swim? If so, please comment below! Thanks guys!

A sad departure

Today was the last day of school! A melancholy day, as it turns out. Not much in the way of sunshine, I might add. I wasn't in the best of moods to begin with. My best friend, Matt, came to school crying because he was my friend's that had left boyfriend and so on. As I was comforting him, or trying to, another guy friend of mine came along and sparked a little fit. So, as you can imagine, I was unhappy as well as Matt. It was a rainy day and wasn't the best for field day. But as we doing a bottle game, (you had to get a cup of water then put it in the water bottle which happened to be on Matt's head) he got entirely soaked! I offered him my coat, though he refused.

At 9:00 we met our new teachers! I have (luckily) had all the teachers I've wanted. I am very lucky. And I have so much to look forward to! Unfortunately, M.O.S.S. costs $160. Fortunately, he said we're able to do a ton of fundraisers.

We then had a announcement/awards ceremony type of thing. You honor people for certain things they've done.  Such as, choir; track; orchestra; etc. So we had to say goodbye to our friends, the sixth graders. I was very emotional because, well, I had made friends with them! It was an emotional time for me. =(  I literally cried.  Luckily, I have some of their numbers in my yearbook.

After school, I hugged my friend, Colton, as it was because he was crying. As was poor, poor Emily. (Big) We said our adoos. They are 5th graders, such as myself. I'll miss my old friends, but I'll make some new ones. Hopefully. Goodbye school, here I come summer!

An interesting day

My best friend's last day was today.  We cried into each others' arms, and she said she'll try to call my friends and I. On a more upbeat scale, my class went to the Nampa Recreational Center today! Yaay! And, tomorrow is the last day of school. My Grandma is having a checkup tomorrow, and though I've had a rough day, I have supportive friends and family. I'm sorry this is such a short post, I thought, "I'll update my blog" but I guess I'm not feelin' the vibe.  I do apologize. Thanks guys!

Grief is an odd thing.

OK, maybe this isn't the best way to start the beginng of a post- but we've got to face reality at some point.
For me, the grief struck at 6:18. My biological father had gotten in a car wreck. It was like a a spike in sugar. It rose when I was happy, then came down with a sickening thud. I unfortunately had to face this tragic event. When the tow truck arrived, I rushed to my father and cried. He said he hadn't a bruise on him, not one. Then he cracked a joke saying, "Even if it had been worse I would have survived." I glared at him for that. Would you honestly think of it funny after the car crash occurred? Think father, think!

On the more positive side, SCHOOL IS ALMOST OUT!!!!
List of things I'm going to do:
  1. Hang out with friends
  2. Go to the gym
  3. School that darn mile!
  4. Be a good friend.
  5. Go swimming a lot
  6. Impress some guys :)
I hope I can stick with this blog thing for a while. Maybe it could be called "therapy" :P Haha. Just kidding. Thanks for reading guys! Talk to you soon!
